  2. Allergy to baby cosmetics and care products,
  3. Untimely intimate washing,
  4. Malnutrition,
  5. Hyperthermia,
  6. Skin bacterial damage,
  7. Inadequate drying of the skin after bathing,
  8. Improper use of diapers,
  9. Child’s faeces.

Early treatment of diaper rash in the child

It is important to remember that diaper rash can be cured only if the baby’s skin is kept clean and dry. It is also necessary to adhere to the following rules:

  • Use high-quality diapers,
  • Before putting on a new diaper, leave the baby naked for a short time so that the skin is dried,
  • Use only warm water for washing,
  • Do not rub the skin after water procedures, but gently dub it with a towel,
  • Consult with a doctor before using any medications to treat diaper dermatitis.

Usually, children creams and remedies that restore and protect the skin are considered as the “helpers” in the fight against diaper rash. According to the rules, it is necessary to apply a cream to the skin after water procedures and each diaper change in order to reduce irritations.

To prevent diaper rash, in is necessary to do the following:

  • Change diapers every 3 to 4 hours,
  • Choose a diaper according to the weight of the baby,
  • Wash the baby after defecation and let the skin dry after that,
  • Use powders based on maize starch (but not talc),
  • Fix the diaper not too tightly to the skin,
  • Make sure that the clothes do not press the diaper against the body,
  • Rinse laundry well after using powder detergents, conditioners, etc.

If you notice diaper dermatitis in your baby, take immediate action, since it is much easier to eliminate it at the initial stage.
